Clare-Anne Edwards Canfield is a longevity nerd and biologist that studies aging and conservation. She earned a PhD from the University of South Florida in Cell and Molecular Biology. She is currently the president of The Moirai Conservation and Research Inc. and Chair of the Biomedical Sciences Department at Keiser University in Tampa. She enjoys educating herself and others about biology, aging science, conservation, and compassion. She struggles with bouts of sarcasm, but she hasn't been arrested for it ... yet.
David is a life-long student and perpetual explorer of the universe. As Veteran of the United States Air Force he spent time living in South Korea and Afghanistan experiencing unique cultures. While in the military he earned Associate Degrees in Medical Science and Electronic Systems Technology. After military service he graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. He is particularly interested in Genetics, Computer Programming, and Entrepreneurship. David's dream is to add value to the world and leave it better than it was found. This is where David and the Moirai align as advocates for public education about, and the preservation of, endangered long lived species.

Jackie is a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University, pursuing a MS in Biotechnology and works for a local health insurance company. She attained her BS in Biomedical Sciences from Keiser University. A passion for endless learning and research is what drew her to The Moirai Conservation and Research Inc.
John Canfield is a clinical scientist and self proclaimed bird-nerd. He obtained his PhD in molecular pharmacology and physiology from the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida and is currently the lead scientist and supervisor of the Biomarker Laboratory at a Immunologix Laboratories in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Copes has been studying animal lifespan and aging for the last 15 years. He currently serves on the board of directors for Moirai Conservation and Research, and works as an instructor in the BioMedical Sciences department at Keiser University in Tampa, Florida.
